What is a Small Group?A home group typically includes 8-12 people who live in the same geographic area or have similar family make up (single, married with kids, empty nester). Recommended materials are provided by the church and we are currently exploring God's purpose in our lives. |

Why Join a Small Group? You will begin to feel like a part of God's family. Most people who have been a part of a group say the greatest benefit is the close relationships and friendships that develop. We are instructed to love one another, encourage one another, pray for one another, accept one another and build up one another. The way to obey these commands is in a small group! God never meant for you to go it alone in the Christian life. You will understand the Bible better in a small group. In a small group setting, you can ask questions, participate in discussion of the text and hear others share insights and illustrations of the truth you are trying to grasp. |

You will have a natural way to share Christ with friends and family. You may know people who have refused to come to church with you but those same people might be open to an invitation to a casual Bible discussion in a home setting. In a small group, your unbelieving friend can ask questions and express honest doubts. The warmth and honesty your friend receives from the group may make him more receptive to the Good News. |
